For those who’d rather explore Alberta on the back of a sturdy steed, Alberta is definitely the place to be. The region is known for ranching, and there are dozens of dude ranches just waiting to show you how to do anything, from working as a cowboy to taking a horse tour up a mountain trail or going on a horseback hunting trip. If you’re more into horsepower than a horse’s power, rent yourself a motorcycle. Motorcycle touring is extremely popular in Alberta as a way to see the country and get a little speed thrill in the bargain.
