HookedOnCanada.com co-founders, Paul & Beverly Derouard, have created a venture that plays to their combined skills and passions.  Partners at home and at work, they spend family time pursuing outdoor activities including, snowshoeing, kayaking, fishing and hiking.  Their strong values and respect for the environment is conveyed in both their home and work life.  With first hand experience of the effects of the International Community on the Tourism Industry in Canada, they strive to overcome barriers and effectively promote Canada as an unrivaled destination, domestically and internationally.

Paul Derouard, B.Admin, CMA
Born and raised in Kenora, Ontario, Paul has enjoyed the Great Outdoors his entire life.  He earned his Bachelor of Administration at Lakehead University and became an accredited Certified Management Accountant.  He specializes in finance, statistics and IT.  His extensive business background complements his education.  Paul is a visionary and is always exploring opportunities to improve our services and be proactive.

Beverly Derouard
Holding diplomas in International Business and Business Marketing from Confederation College, Beverly specializes in communication and entrepreneurship. Her broad base of knowledge provides her with the inspiration she needs to face the daily challenges of running a small business.  Although, she has studied abroad and traveled extensively across North America, South America and Europe, she holds fast in her belief that there’s no place like home.  Previous to this, Beverly was an Early Childhood Educator; this experience has made her more eager to support and enhance the lives of all people, little and grown.

Oakley Derouard
With over 10 years of customer service experience, Oakley specializes in Public Relations.  He is an avid swimmer and explorer, despite his long fur and floppy ears.  His relentless curiosity and determination are an inspiration to us all.
