Trek up to the Big Muddy Badlands - which are, truthfully, both big and muddy – though we’ll contest the badlands part. They’re too beautiful to be called bad.

Get outfitted and saddled up for a backcountry ride into the boreal forest, or experience the riding life the way the cowboys did by joining up with a cattle drive. If you’re up for a longer adventure, take a horse out for a several-day journey and go far into unexplored territory, with only your noble steed for company. Saskatchewan will have you humming the Lone Ranger theme song in no time. If golf’s your game, you’re in a world of luck. There are more golf courses per capita in Saskatchewan than anywhere else in the world, and it’s fine driving, too. Lots of trickling streams throughout the fairways make for challenging courses. The best part? Greens are so uncrowded you’ll never find yourself asking to play through.
